Take a look at this is a list of dog events and fundraisers benefiting dogs in the greater Memphis area for the Fall of 2014. Sunny Meadows Yard Sale Fundraiser

– August 2nd 11 am – 4 pm

– Items include; clothes, games, household items, and more.


Doggin’ it 5k

– Hosted by Southern Festival of Dogs

– Overton Park 9am

Real Good Dog Rescue Fundraiser

– Wednesday August 20th from 6 pm – 9 pm

– Tower Center, 33rd floor of Clock Tower, 5700 Poplar Ave., Memphis, TN

– $20 admission

– Live music, food, cash bar, silent auction, and more

Paw Prints Party

– Humane Society of Memphis and Shelby County

– Saturday August 23rd 5:30 pm

– Event location: Woodland Hills (10000 Woodland Hills Drive)

– Part of Germantown Festival

– Shelby Farms Park

– Benefits Habitat for Hope

– All day festival, live bands, kids race, food truck rodeo, local vendors

Dog Day at the Garden

– September 28th from 2 pm -5 pm

– Event location: Memphis Botanic Gardens

– Event for well behaved dogs and their owners

– Members $5, Non-members $10

– Prizes for; best dog trick, most fitting name, and best costume

– Various vendors


Puppy Up! Walk

– September 28th 12 – 4 pm festival

– Walk begins at 2 pm

– Event Location: Overton Park in Midtown Memphis

– Event benefits both human and dog cancer research

The Fast and the Furriest 5 k Run/walk

– Benefits Memphis Humane Society and Shelby County

– Presented by Hollywood Feed

– 5th annual

– Saturday October 18th at 9 am

– Location: Humane Society of Memphis and Shelby County ( Farm Rd. at Mullins Station near Shelby Farms)

– Dogs are welcome to participate in the race

– Post race celebration will include; food, beer, music, and more
